As is already known, the shareholder declaration has postponed the date to October 2024 (remember that the start date was in April).
This change is due to reform in the law where ordinary power of attorney (like the one we’ve been using to process this filling) switches into a personal declaration using a personal digital signature, a personal declaration made by the owner or legal representative of each entity. The problem with this action is that 70% of the managers or presidents of the companies can’t get the device called “Firma Digital” or digital signature, because they are foreigners and the law prohibits outsiders from having a digital signature, only citizens or residents, but also, you need to know how to do it, which at some point is a challenge because the system is all in Spanish and isn’t amicable with all the info you need to provide…
However, there’s a debate to evade this rule and make it all as used to be (do it with regular POA), but the government claims to make it this way. In all cases, October is just around the corner, reason why is important to keep this notice in your Post-it.
