Days ago, the government of Costa Rica approved to extend the stay in the country from 90 days to 180 days.
This action benefits a first group of 60 countries like United States, Denmark, Spain, Germany, France, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Australia, Japan, Sweden, among others.
Note that stay-in will inquire the approval of the customs upon your arrival, which would decide if accept or not your visit, and sometimes, would assign how long you shall remain in the country.
Both locals and tourists applaud this move, which gives revenue to the country and allows travelers to discover more about Costa Rica.
